Where do you start? Just like any website, you need to complete the onsite SEO as your first priority. As onsite SEO revolves around keywords, your first task will be intensive keyword research. Create a list of keywords that defines what your site is selling. For example, if you are selling pool toys, your keyword list will include toys and pool toys, but also longer search terms such as swimming pool toys, swimming pool games, pool floats, etc. Then you will need to determine which keywords will be targeted for each page of your website. Onsite SEO includes updating all your meta-tags, adding content, and internal linking. Meta-tags includes your title tag, head tags, description tag. These should all be updated to support the page.

Summer is a time of playing and enjoying spending time outdoors. The whole family should have items that they can take out and have fun with while spending time together. But sometimes finding these items for a good price isn’t easy and everyone wants to save money right now.

Why Use Articles For Promoting Your ECommerce Website

I just returned from the Surf Show trade show in Orlando and had a great time. 1. When writing articles, take a few moments to think about your title. By incorporating your keywords into the title of your article, you can rank quickly in the search engines for these terms.

2. If you’re looking for incoming links, start with the long-tail keywords then work up to your main keywords. It’s easier to rank for the long-tail keywords than the more competitive keywords – plus, the long tail keywords generally convert better because these words match the search query that your customers are using.

3. The best places to place articles are Ezinearticles.com, I-Snare, Squidoo, and Hub Pages. These are the BEST places for getting links to your website.

Bottom line, article marketing provides an incredible boost to your website marketing program. Schedule time into your week to publish articles at least to Ezine and you’ll see positive results in your website.

Why I Love Working From Home

Often when I begin my day in my home office, I remember rushing around in the morning to get my girls off to daycare then later school then sitting in traffic trying to get to work. Not a very pleasant memory! This is one of the main reasons why I love working from home – my commute is now less than 1 minute.

Another reason is flexibility. My younger daughter is now a senior in high school and of course we had to get her senior pictures. The company scheduled her appointment at 1:45 p.m. If I still held a “J-O-B” I would have had to take the afternoon off to make sure we got to her appointment on time. Over the past several years I have been one of the lucky moms that could go on field trips with my girls and some of these field trips were amazing! If I were still working in an office, I would have missed the trip with my older daughter where we went snorkling over a reef in the Florida Keys and many other field trips. Flexibility is truly the answer to having balance in your life.

Now that I’ve realized how lucky I truly am, my goal is to help other stay at home moms be able to have the same experiences that I have. How Women Can Use Social Marketing To Promote Their Businesses

I just came back from a seminar in Atlanta this past weekend that focused on internet marketing. Several fantastic speakers talked about using social media for the marketing of your business and a light bulb went off in my head – I can use this information to make a difference in the community where I live.

I live in a rural part of Florida in Suwannee County and have noticed that many young women repeat the cycle of their surroundings. They drop out of school and get pregnant – that’s it. Unfortunately, the economy is making this scenario worse in that the jobs that some of these women were able to get, they no longer have due to being laid off. Most of the women don’t work – they rely on government assistance which seems to be a cycle difficult to break.

It doesn’t have to be this way. If we can reach just one young woman and get her started with her own online business to take care of her family and support herself, we may have a domino effect. It must be understood that there is “work” involved in building a business – it doesn’t happen by itself. No one is going to magically build it for you and say – here you go. Besides, it wouldn’t be appreciated since no sweat and tears went into building the business.
