SEO, Social Marketing, Online Niche Business – Denise Sanger

A few months back, I posted that I was going to give network marketing ONE MORE CHANCE utilizing only the internet to build the business.   Would you like to know how it went?  It didn’t – LOL!

I joined Monavie because I truly love their energy drink but since this wasn’t my first, second, or even fifth network marketing business attempt and knowing as much as I do now about SEO and niche businesses, I decided – okay ONE MORE TRY – but only using the internet to build the business.

The first problem quickly became apparent when I found out that the website that was provided by the company could not have anything modified.   Meaning no content, html tags, nothing that I could do to help my little Monavie website rank and bring me traffic.

Next I tried PPC to get leads.  The leads that came in were a waste of both my time and money.  The keywords were highly competitive and even targetting long tail keywords, the cost was still extremely high and these were non-coverting leads.

So what did I learn?  I learned that building and selling my niche websites is a MUCH MORE LUCRATIVE business venture worth my time – and there is no money out of pocket since I put the time and effort into the SEO and marketing of these sites when time allows.  USA Pool & Toy, which is a manufacturer/distributor of wholesale toys and gifts along with NewCoolToysOnline.com and BocaClips.com – the retail partners to the wholesale business allows me to live the life I want to live and work the hours I want to work.  Yes, I am on my way to the 4 hour work week.

I’ll be honest, network marketing has always fascinated me but I have never been very successful in building a large “empire” that will pay me the rest of my life.  Don’t get me wrong – I have had success but at the end of the day, it just wasn’t ENOUGH success for me to be happy and continue pursuing it.

The other day, my farrier (the gentleman that takes care of my horses’ feet) Jason, gave me an energy drink from a company called Monavie.  I knew this was a network marketing company and Jason knew I wasn’t really interested in the past when he mentioned it to me because my businesses are seasonal and at the time he mentioned to me, USA Pool & Toy was rocking and rolling.  Well they say there is a right time for everything and I really LOVED that energy drink!  I drank the energy drink at 3 p.m. which is usually the worst time of the day for me as far as focus because I’m a bit on the tired side.

After drinking MonaVie EMV that afternoon, I felt more focused and awake than I had all day – which to me was amazing.  AND the best part of this drink?  It costs less than similar products sold at the store.  So I thought, okay, this company may just have something here now how do I build a business around it WITHOUT aggravating my friends and family?

So, I decided to join and build my network marketing business from the internet only using my SEO & social marketing skills.  Every week, I’ll update you on how this path goes but keep in mind that this is not my full-time business.  Worse case scenario? I’ll continue buying the energy drink!
